Our Doctors

Dr. Blackwood

Her family is originally from the Asheville, NC area but she was raised in Rock Hill, SC. She graduated summa cum laude at the University of South Carolina in Columbia before going to optometry school at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. After receiving her doctor of optometry degree, she returned to the North Carolina mountains in 2012. Since then she has started her own practice, Family Vision Optometric and proudly services many areas through out Western North Carolina.
Dr. Blackwood married in 2018 and enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with family.

Dr. Reames

She previously owned her own practice in Asheville, NC for many years.

Recently she has come to Pisgah Forest join our practice.
